Dobrich....starts and stops

Internet access was touch and go here in Dobrich - which explains why we didn't post yesterday.

But things are up and running to a degree now, so here goes.

The day was to be packed with shooting almost the entire day. But some last minute changes in our schedule and some timing issues with one of our subjects...changed the day entirely.

We followed Jan Beasley - one of the directors of AGC - to buy 60 pair of shoes for the orphans in Dobrich and order pizzas for a big party.  The orphans here expect one pair of new shoes every year from the agency, so they really look forward to their party and their new shoes.

Jan bought the shoes and ordered the pizzas, but the schedule change halted the pizza party and rescheduled for tomorrow.

Which left us with really no interviews or broll to do for the day.... so we took the opportunity to shoot broll of Bulgaria and the countryside - stuff we had planned to do later on the trip.

This altered production scheduled worked out beautifully as the weather cooperated and we were able to cross parts of the country that wouldn't fit into our normally tight schedule.
As a result, we got incredible stuff....and it's all in HD.
