Post Graduation Blues.... or something rather similar to that.

There appears to be a high school freshman living in my house now and I'm not sure how in the world that actually happened, but it's true and I still haven't reconciled with it.

I mean, we have all these videos of a little guy running around in the snow, playing tee-ball, making pumpkins and coloring in a book... and it doesn't seem like those memories were that long ago.

But...apparently it's longer than I thought.

And I know... I'm lamenting the same thing every parent complains about, but now it's my turn so there!

So... in an effort to bring back the "kid" in both of us.... we picked up matching passes to King's Island today.

Let the summer of my son's and my youth.... continue.....at least a little while longer.

Let Summer begin....please.

It's a holiday weekend, the start of summer and all that. So as required, we took in a movie at the drive-in, a very summer type thing to do.

We caught "Kung fu Panda 2" and a bit of "Thor". A lightning storm kicked up during the second feature and I have to admit it was kinda cool watching the "god of thunder" put on a light show during his movie.

As one season begins, more or less, so one ends. We are saying goodbye to 8th grade and hello high school.
And that means the end of school year program. Which means two parents acting silly while their son dances in the program.

Gotta love that look.

And I saw a rainbow heading home this week. Always knew the pot o gold was at my house.

An attempt....

Ok... It's been some time since I've tried to keep a daily blog.

Hopefully, that's about to change. I can blog on my iPad and I want to get myself in a habit of collecting thoughts, experiences and what-nots and throw all of it in the blog.

Here goes....

Currently, I'm finishing up multiple projects. A sports video, some commercial work and some corporate work too.

Oh and it's predicted to rain again today.... My grass really needs it :/

Hey it's me and Drew Stubbs....

Spring In Production

Finally, it's beginning to feel like e season is changing. From a production standpoint, we're moving right on to the next big project.

Lots of stuff to work on... Sometimes feels like too many things to work on, but that's normally a good thing...right?

Finishing up...

For me, the trip back was easier than the trip to - at least in terms of jetlag.

I'm still processing all I saw and did in Bulgaria and I expect it will take some time given that I'm working with the footage prepping it for editing. It's always bringing back memories and moments.

I'm glad to be back in my country with my wife and son and the rest of my family and friends. Bulgaria is something I'll never forget but being home tends to help.
